PDPL PARALLEL DUAL PLATE LINE

The PDPL made by WGTEM parallel plate lines are purpose-built for immunity testing of small to medium-sized equipment and generate a true propagating electromagnetic field — fully meeting the requirements of new MIL-STD-461H for formal RS103 qualification testing for frequencies up to 30 MHz. The field is maintained as uniform as possible over the test boundary, ensuring both accuracy and repeatability. The main advantage of this line is that the equipment under test can be easily and successively tested in both polarisations without being dismantled, and the line is electrically symmetrical with impedance matched on both sides. The line is easy to pivot and to move. The dielectric table (not supplied) can be removed. An optional metallic plate can be placed on the table depending on the requirements of the different standards. The parallel plate line can also be used for immunity tests on automotive devices according to the European directive 2004/104/EC and on broadcast receivers and associated equipment according to EN 55020 and EN 55035.
